The culinary competition "Pomáhať nám chutí" returns to Liptovský dvor again after a year. It is not only about the gastronomic experience that two great Slovak chefs will give you, but mainly about helping others. It is about helping those whose lives have been complicated by a serious illness. It is for them that the proceeds from the 5-course tasting menu, prepared and served by these chefs anonymously, will go. Guests will then decide which menu to support and with what amount of money.

Svetielko nádeje
The proceeds from the meals of Peter Bracho, who worked in our hotel for more than 7 years, will go to the Svetielko nádeje association in Banská Bystrica, which has been operating for 22 years and is aimed at improving the lives of children with oncological or other serious diseases and their families in cooperation with the Children's University Hospital with Polyclinic in Banská Bystrica, especially with the Clinic of Paediatric Oncology and Haematology.

Vladko Ševčovič
In this duel he will face the new chef of our hotel, Lukáš Klenko. The proceeds from his meals will go to 4-year-old Vladko Ševčovič, who is the only one in Slovakia and the Czech Republic with genetic mutation 15q13.3 with associated mental retardation, EEG anomalies, sleep apnea, deafness, quadriparesis with hyperkinesis.
In order to make this help possible and to make this evening full of emotions, first-class gastronomy, competition, but also humour and friendly meetings meaningful, the guests who will visit us at the Liptovský dvor are important. That is why we cordially invite you on 16.11.2024 to our Barn Liptovský dvor. Entrance to this event is free of charge and YOU decide how much we will help!
The whole evening, enriched with a cultural programme, will be accompanied by Milan "Junior" Zimnýkoval. The tasting will be complemented with quality wines by our partner Best Wines Distribution, headed by sommelier Vladimír Mészáros.
Dvaja šéfkuchári s veľkým srdcom
Lukáš Klenko, a native of Liptov and the current chef at our hotel, previously worked in Germany with Michelin-starred chef Christian Krempin in the restaurant of the Parkhotel Albrecht****, where they won the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs award. He later worked as a chef in Austria, Bratislava and Jasná. He has cooked for prominent personalities such as the former President of the Slovak Republic and also on a UEFA international project in Central Africa. He also looked after Radoslav Nackin's business, which awards the Gourmet Award in Slovakia. Like a true Liptan, he loves local ingredients, but he also enjoys the Asian fusion in Slovak traditional food.
Peter Bracho, who has worked in our hotel as a chef for more than 7 years, emphasizes the quality, localness and freshness of the ingredients used. He is the holder of the Master Chef of Slovakia 2016/2017 and the winner of the fifth edition of the Interregional Culinary Cup of European Regions 2019. In the past, he cooked in Vienna, Germany, in the restaurant of Michelin-starred chef Pavel Pospíšil. He was also involved in the launch of Warhol's Bar & Bistro at EXPO 2020 in Dubai - in the Slovak Pavilion. He is currently working as a chef at Klára restaurant in the Voderady Manor.
